_____________________________
Every morning the residents of Dorchester County drive to work on over-crowded roads and send their children to over-crowded schools.  These are the two most obvious results of rapid, unplanned growth on the community, but there are other impacts as well.  Declines in air and water quality, loss of rural and wilderness areas, and the eventual need to raise taxes to service new residents can all be expected if proper planning is not in place.

This website is intended to inform the residents of Dorchester County about the impacts of unplanned growth and tell them what County Council has been doing about it.  Additionally, we will provide advice to residents about how to get involved with these issues.

We hope that you will sign up to receive email updates about what is happening in Dorchester County and to find out what you can do to make a difference.   Your email address will only be used by this group to contact you regarding Dorchester County growth issues.
