Every morning the residents of Dorchester County drive on over-crowded roads and send their children to over-crowded schools.  These are the two most obvious results of rapid, unplanned growth on the community, but there are other impacts as well.  Declines in air and water quality, loss of rural and wilderness areas, and the eventual need to raise taxes to service new residents can all be expected if proper planning is not in place. 

This website is intended to educate the residents of Dorchester County on the impacts of unplanned growth and tell them what County Council has been doing about it.  Additionally, we will provide advice to residents who would like to get involved with these issues.
